HVAC Technician

**Job Title: HVAC Technician** **** **Job Description** We are seeking experienced HVAC Technicians for residential service and installation work. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and installing heating and cooling systems to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. **Responsibilities** + Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems + Install furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and related components + Perform routine maintenance and system tune-ups + Ensure compliance with safety standards and local codes + Communicate effectively with customers and provide clear explanations of work performed **Essential Skills** + HVAC service and installation + Diagnose and repair of HVAC systems + Troubleshooting and mechanical skills + Installation of new HVAC systems + Sheet metal work **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High school diploma or equivalent + EPA Section 608 Certification (mandatory) + Minimum 2 years of residential HVAC experience + NATE Certification or equivalent (desired) + Experience with smart thermostats and home automation systems + Familiarity with ductless mini-split systems + Basic plumbing or electrical knowledge **Why Work Here?** Join our team and enjoy direct hire into the company, comprehensive health benefits, a company vehicle, opportunities to make commissions, a 401k plan, and paid time off. **Work Environment** Work Monday through Friday from 7 am to 4 pm, with potential weekend shifts and an on-call schedule in the works. You will work in and around residential homes all over the Chicagoland area and surrounding suburbs. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Chicago, IL. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $40000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
