Located in Bartlett, IL Salary: $26 an hour Job Title: Auto Inspector Location: Bartlett, IL Pay Rate: $26.00/hour Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Day Shift)?? Job Description We're seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Inspector with mechanical expertise to join our team. In this role, you'll conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to assess their mechanical condition - including engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, and other essential components - using diagnostic equipment and visual techniques. Your work ensures accurate vehicle representation in auctions and enhances the customer experience. ? Responsibilities- Inspect vehicles for mechanical integrity and performance
- Use diagnostic tools and visual inspection methods to assess key systems
- Assist in getting vehicles to run and drive when needed
- Document findings and communicate issues clearly
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Hand tools
- Power tools
- Diagnostic equipment
- Detail-oriented with strong mechanical knowledge
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working independently
- No travel required
- Experience with vehicle repair or inspection preferred
