Reports To: Warehouse/Shipping Manager

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Deliver products to job sites
• Load and unload trucks
• Maintains the cleanliness of the warehouse by sweeping, emptying the garbage and restocking the kitchen
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the of the yard
• Notifies the supervisor of any shipping or receiving issues
• Receive products in warehouse, ensuring quantities match packing slips
• Assist Shipping Manager with maintaining accurate inventory counts
• Other duties as assigned by Shipping Manager
• Possible Saturday and off Peak Deliveries

Qualifications, Competencies, & Abilities:

• Travel to multiple locations daily
• Must have and maintain a Class C Drivers License
• Certified fork lift driver
• Basic understanding of dock and warehouse procedures
• Structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Self-Motivated, with the ability to work with little or no supervision.
• Strong level of attention to detail.
• Use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate information and ideas both verbally and written so others will understand.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.
• Work and communicate effectively with individuals at all levels, including executives.

• Environment: Work is performed primarily in a standard warehouse environment.
• Physical: Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an warehouse setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to 100lbs of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; to travel to other locations using various modes of private and commercial transportation; and to verbally communicate to exchange information.
• Vision: See in the normal visual range with or without correction.
• Hearing: Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Class C License is a must
• 5 year’s experience as a driver
• Knowledge of the City is a plus
