Radiology Technologist

Hourly Pay Range:

$29.68 - $46.00 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

? Position: Radiologic Technologist II

Sign on Bonus: $10,000

? Location: Highland Park Hospital- General and OR

? Full Time/Part Time: Full time

? Hours: Monday-Friday 12pm-8:30pm

• On Call: Yes

? Required Travel: N/A

What you will need:

? License: IEMA licensing required

? Education: Certificate or Associate?s degree from an accredited radiology program

? Certification: CPR certification required. ARRT registry eligible required.

? Experience: Previous radiology experience required.

? Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills required

What you will do :

• Prepare patients for exam: obtain and record history, explain procedures, position patients and ensure their comfort
• Perform radiographic exams
• Review radiographs to ensure optimum quality
• Complete and submit information and images to RIS in a timely manner
• Consistently works independently and operates all equipment with minimal assistance to performance procedures
• Check supplies/stocks room and maintains general cleanliness in department
• Assists in printing films and retrieval of reports
• May be required to work at other NorthShore off-site facilities to accommodate internal/external customers past schedules hours
• Reports environmental/equipment problems to appropriate resource personnel
