Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Position Details:
- Start Date: Immediate opening
- Schedule (School Year):
- Monday–Friday
- 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- ESY Schedule:
- Monday–Friday
- 8:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- School Year Ends: May 29
- ESY Program Dates: June 1 – June 29
- 2026–27 Staff Start Date: Thursday, August 13
- Setting: Onsite only
- Compensation : $50-55
Caseload Information
- Students in Kindergarten through 6th grade
- Specialized educational setting
- 5 classrooms with a maximum of 6 students per classroom
- Current enrollment: 22 students
- Potential for 2 additional students before the end of the school year
Responsibilities
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment goals
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
- Maintain documentation and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration
Qualifications
- Active IL SLP license and credentials
- Previous school-based experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively with elementary-aged students
