Operations Coordinator (Chicago)

Razny Jewelers, a high-end jewelry and fine timepiece retailer with four stores in the Chicagoland area, is looking for an Operations Coordinator to join our team as a full-time employee working out of our Chicago, IL location.

The ideal candidate must be comfortable contributing to and working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multi-task and liaison between sales associates, watchmakers and clients in order to deliver the Razny experience, the best client experience.

Responsibilities:

• Accept watches and jewelry for repair from clients on a day-to-day basis
• Evaluate item conditions and clearly identify necessary repairs by working closely with both sales associates and our in-house watchmakers
• Communicate instructions for proper servicing and enter information clearly into the POS system
• Responsible for merchandise transfers three or more times per week
• Assist sales team with customer orders
• Assist customers with any questions or concerns they may bring to the client service department
• Facilitate delivery of merchandise to customers

Requirements:

• Previous customer service experience is a plus
• Experience in a retail environment strongly preferred
• Ability to maintain composure in high pressure, fast-paced environment
• Great listener and communicator
• Organized and good at multi-tasking
• Comfortable at handling phone calls and in person correspondence
• Professional and welcoming presentation
• Demonstrates attention to detail and has a sense of urgency
• A passion for the jewelry industry
