Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any changes in their condition
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure the highest standards of care
• Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments and discuss risks with patients
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Educate patients and families regarding anesthesia processes and safety
• Participate in continuous medical education and training initiatives
• Adhere to all safety and health regulations in the operating room

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with specialization in Anesthesiology
• Valid medical license to practice in the state of Illinois
• 1-3 years of experience in anesthesiology as a practicing physician
• Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques and protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to patient safety and ethical medical practices
• Willingness to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

Flexible Schedule: 8-hour day shifts available Monday-Friday

In-house call shifts

Patient Volume: 12-14 per day

Diverse Case Mix: Trauma, orthopedics, general surgery, vascular, orthopedics/spine, urology, and robotics

EMR: Epic

Must be ABA or ABPS board-certified or board-eligible
