Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Delivery Helper to join our team. In this role, you will assist in the efficient delivery of goods to our customers, ensuring that products are delivered safely and on time. As a Delivery Helper, you will work closely with the delivery driver to load and unload items, navigate routes, and provide excellent customer service. Duties

• Assist the delivery driver in loading and unloading items from the delivery vehicle.
• Ensure all packages are secured and organized for transport.
• Help navigate delivery routes effectively to optimize time and efficiency.
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from customers.
• Handle heavy lifting as required, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.
• Support the driver with any necessary paperwork or documentation related to deliveries.

Delivery Driver Compensation:

• $18.00/hr starting pay, weekly
• Paid Time off starts accruing immediately

Delivery Driver Shift Information:

• Start time 10:30 AM
• Full-time and part-time positions are available
• Open availability is required during the probationary period
• Shifts are 8-10 hours per day, available 7 days per week

Delivery Duties and Responsibilities:

• Use of smartphone applications for routing and customer delivery information.

Amazon Delivery Station Location: 3800 Finley Rd, Downers Grove, IL 60515

Shift:

• 8 -10 hour shift
• Day and evening shift

Work Days:

• Holidays
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Qualifications

• Previous experience in route driving or as a delivery driver is preferred.
• Familiarity with loading and unloading procedures for commercial vehicles.
• Experience with heavy lifting and moving items safely.
• Knowledge of operating box trucks or similar vehicles is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills to interact positively with clients during deliveries.
• Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is beneficial but not required.
• A background in courier services or logistics can enhance your application.
