Direct Hire Maintenance Mechanic 12hr Night Shift 2-2-3

Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic paying $33-$38/hr

Type: DIRECT HIRE

Compensation: $30-38.00 per hour based off experience

Shift : 3rd shift 12hr rotating schedule 6pm-6am (2-2-3 schedule)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Mechanic to join our team and perform preventative maintenance on injection mold machinery or other shop equipment. This role involves maintaining machine functionality through mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical troubleshooting/repair.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain all company policies, including ISO Standards, Health and Safety Requirements, and Continuous Improvement.
• Install and perform preventative maintenance on injection molding machines and related equipment.
• Recondition used equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, automation, vision, and electrical systems on injection molding machines to ensure continuous production.
• Authorize the removal of any machine or equipment from service that is deemed unsafe or would deteriorate with continued use.

Essential Skills

• High School Diploma required.
• Proficiency in English required; Spanish is preferred.
• Mechanical and electrical skills.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Familiarity with automation and vision systems.
• Troubleshooting experience.
• Knowledge of injection molding machine functions and controls.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Welding and fabricating skills are a plus.

Work Environment

The work environment is primarily a manufacturing setting with some exposure to an office environment. Employees may need to sit, talk, or hear, and use hands to handle objects or controls. Regular standing and walking are required, with occasional stooping, bending, or reaching. Specific vision abilities such as close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment are necessary. The role involves lifting up to 35 lbs and standing/walking for long periods. Climbing short ladders to access utility mezzanines may also be required.
