Location: Chicago, IL 60606 — Hybrid (2 days onsite)
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Pay Range: $52,000–$58,000 annually ($25–$28/hr)

Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of fund disbursement for title or escrow closings
- Issue checks and initiate/approve outgoing wires using a two-step process
- Balance closing files with precision to ensure accurate fund allocation
- Communicate with closing teams and external partners to resolve discrepancies
- Monitor daily reports and queues related to disbursements and cash balances
- Reconcile wires and deposits; investigate returned or stale-dated checks
- Provide responsive customer service via phone and email
What You’ll Bring
- Experience in bookkeeping, accounting, banking, or title/escrow processes
- Familiarity with online banking systems and closing software (SoftPro preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Clear written and verbal communication abilities
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
