We're seeking a Medical Assistant in Downers Grove, IL.

About the Role

This full-time position is an on-site role in Aurora, IL. Your shift will be Monday to Thursday , from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Friday 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM . You will be responsible for rooming up to 25 patients daily and providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience : We are looking for someone with experience greeting patients, assisting with registration and scheduling, taking vital signs, and collecting health history.

• Education : A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet patients and assist with registration, scheduling, measuring vital signs, and collecting health history.

• Answer phone calls from patients.

• Provide support to physicians during examinations, minor office surgeries, dressing changes, and other first aid procedures.

• Assist patients with prescription requests, address pharmacy callbacks, and update charting.

• Conduct onsite lab testing, including EKG, pulmonary function, blood glucose, and urine pregnancy tests.

• Maintain clean, warm, and inviting examination rooms for patient visits.
