Welder And Fabricator
Job Description
We are seeking skilled candidates to join our Welding and Grind team, specializing in Robotic and MIG welding. This role is crucial for maintaining high-quality production standards in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with the team to operate robotic and MIG welding equipment.
- Perform general labor tasks, including grinding and assembly line duties.
- Ensure precision in measuring and assembly operations.
- Maintain attention to detail to identify and rectify quality defects.
- Participate actively in the team’s operational rhythm, contributing to a smooth production process.
- Experience in general labor and production environments.
- Proficiency in grinding, assembly, and machine operation.
- Strong critical thinking abilities and a team-oriented mindset.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to stand for 10-hour shifts and rotate among stations.
- Capability to lift weights of 40-50 lbs, though tasks are not excessively physical.
- Preparedness to work in warm conditions near the furnace using safety equipment.

Work Environment
The workplace is clean and highly organized, featuring departments for production, welding, shipping/receiving, and engineering. Employees will experience some heat near the furnace, but safety protocols are in place. Shifts are available across three time slots: 1st shift (6:00 AM - 2:00 PM), 2nd shift (2:00 PM - 10:00 PM), and 3rd shift (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM). Orientation begins at 6 AM and includes a comprehensive introduction to the company and role expectations.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rock Island, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
