Quantitative Data Engineer/Researcher - US Equity and Options
Company Description:
We are partnered with a leading systematic trading firm seeking a Quantitative Data Engineer/Researcher to join a high-impact research team. This role sits at the intersection of data, research, and trading, with a strong focus on building high-quality datasets to support systematic strategies across US equities and options.
Role Description:
The successful candidate will curate, validate, and analyze large-scale market, fundamental, and alternative datasets, working closely with trading, technology, and data acquisition teams. The role involves identifying market patterns, supporting quantitative research, and ensuring research data is production-ready for live trading environments.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in quantitative research or data-focused roles within systematic trading.
- Strong experience working with market, fundamental, and vendor-supplied financial data.
- Advanced proficiency in Python with solid SQL/database experience.
- Familiarity with tick-level and real-time data systems.
- Highly detail-oriented with excellent documentation and communication skills.
