About the Opportunity

As a key member of the production planning team, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring smooth manufacturing operations by developing, coordinating, and executing production schedules. You’ll work closely with engineering, procurement, and operations to optimize resources, reduce waste, and ensure timely delivery of complex, custom-built equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and adjust production schedules to align with business objectives.
• Analyze data and forecasts to optimize workflow and anticipate potential challenges.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Procurement, Quality, and Sales.
• Monitor production performance, resolve scheduling issues, and document results.
• Leverage ERP/MRP systems to manage materials, inventory, and production data.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in production planning within manufacturing (OEM, machinery, or related industries).
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, BOMs, and workflow optimization.
• Experience reading blueprints and working with ERP/MRP systems (Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, or Oracle).
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables).
• Proven ability to problem-solve, communicate effectively, and perform under pressure.
• Leadership experience and a desire to continue growing professionally.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Business, Supply Chain, or related field; Lean or process improvement experience.
