Premier Veterinary Group – Mundelein i s seeking veterinarians passionate about working in emergency medicine for our 6-9 month training and mentorship program. We are looking for individuals who are team oriented, driven, reflective, and reliable.

The Ethos ER Immerse Training Program

The ER Immerse Program will prepare veterinarians for a sustainable and satisfying career in emergency medicine. Built from the ground up to be different than traditional rotating internship programs, the ERi program has been developed around a curriculum of core competencies essential for an emergency veterinarian. In addition to providing training around clinical knowledge and skills, the program also includes a focus on client and team member communication, professional skills, and life/work integration.

The ER Immerse program utilizes a hybrid training approach incorporating simulation-based didactic components into authentic training experiences with live patients. The curriculum is designed using an evidence-based strategy identifying competencies and skills deemed essential for a successful career as an emergency clinician.

• A team of experienced ER DVMs, positive and fun culture!

• Canine and Feline, some exotics but only if you prefer.

Program Duration/Commitment

· 6–9-month training program ideally beginning June 2026, but can accommodate your preferred date

· 12-month commitment as an ER clinician following training

Program Highlights

·5-day work week consisting of 4 clinical days, 1 didactic day, and 2 days off each week

·If training at Chicago you will r otate with other specialty services during the training program: Emergency, Critical Care, Surgery, Internal Medicine, Anesthesia, Radiology and Neurology

· Always work with a dedicated mentor on shifts

· Daily Rounds

· Mentorship is tailored to meet the individual needs of the mentee

· Competency-based curriculum that includes asynchronous learning on Vetbloom and weekly live virtual didactic rounds

· Regular live continuing education events led by specialists and experienced emergency doctors

· Work alongside talented Emergency Veterinarians

Work authorization in the United States is a requirement for the position. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship by the company, but candidates eligible for TN status may be considered.

Compensation and benefits

• $110,000 annualized salary during training, $165,000 annual salary plus production after training
