Part-time Shipping/Staging Associate - Contracteur à temps partiel chargé de l'expédition et de la mise en place

Fresh Deliveries is looking for a highly motivated, energetic individual to join our warehouse staging/shipping team in Ottawa.
We deliver cooler bags of fresh, prepped ingredients directly to our customers’ homes. At our warehouse in Ottawa, you will unload, sort, and stage orders for our team of delivery drivers.
This is an Independent Contractor position 2 days per week in the mornings. If you can only work Sundays, we're interested in hearing from you too! You're also welcome to take a delivery route and drive after you finish your staging shift, if you have your own vehicle and a valid license.
Shipping hours are usually:
- Saturdays 6pm - 8pm
- Sundays 8am - 12pm
- Monday 9am - 12pm

Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs repeatedly
- A smartphone with a data plan
- Ability to pass a background check
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
- A positive, friendly attitude!
Nice to have, but not necessary
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract
- A vehicle with valid insurance
- Electric pallet jack and/or forklift training
Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Work well under pressure and tight deadlines
- Must be able to work under limited supervision
- Ability to work independently
Job Duties:
- Unload trucks and boxes and stage orders on racks
- Move rolling racks through the warehouse
- Check orders against a manifest
