• Process US and Canadian payroll, with accuracy and timeliness
• Problem-solveto remediate any processing errors
• Apply discretion in decision-making for maintaining compliance as well as a high level of customer service
• Communicate effectively with local management teams to ensure accurate payroll processing · Approach process and system with a continuous improvement mindset
• Complete and balance all required payroll reconciliations with accuracy and timeliness
• Complete accurately Form 941, W2, T4, and other relevant tax documentation for all Client subsidiaries
• Maintain data compliantly and securely
• Ensure accurate process documentation inclusive ofmanuals and SOP"s
• Provide guidance and support to Client employees timely, accurately and professionally
• Serve as secondary processor for US and Canadian non-exempt payrolls · Collaborate with management and other departments across the organization for top notch customer service

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of three years of general office/accounting experience; payroll experience preferred
• Associate"s/Bachelor"s degree preferred or equivalent experience
• Intermediate understanding of accounting/mathematical procedures is required
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Strong strategic thinking and a firm attention to detail are a must
• Excellent communication skills in writing and speaking forms
• Knowledge of Client business units/structure preferred
• Superior attention to detail with the ability to locate discrepancies
• Motivation to be innovative with a continuous improvement mindset
• Exceptional customer service, organization and time management skills
• Special projects may be given to help support management metrics
• Ability to set goals, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines
• Comfortable making quick/calculated decisions
• Knowledge of IBM (CICS & IMS) and MDM systems
• Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Must be able to hear and speak clearly; read, comprehend and communicate, orally and in writing in order to effectively communicate in person or by phone
• Physical requirements include standing, filing, bending, sitting for extended periods of time and working on the telephone
