Greater Family Health is recruiting a full-time MD/DO Family Medicine Physician or MD/DO Internal Medicine Physician to provide care at our Health Center located at 373 Summit St., Elgin, IL 60120.

The Family Medicine Physician provides comprehensive primary health care services to a primarily low-income population, focusing on adult medicine with some pediatrics. Well care, sick care and chronic disease management are common. The position provides outpatient care during a 4-day work week, with 2 evenings until 7:30 pm, with 1 Saturday/month 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. The position has no hospital rounding responsibilities and shares practice call for a week 1 out of every 35+ weeks.

As Greater Family Health is Joint Commission Accredited and PCMH certified, the practitioner is supported by a Care Team which includes a bilingual Medical Assistant, Clinical Operations Manager (RN), Care Manager, Health Benefits Specialist, Clinic Coordinator and several additional professionals. NextGen is our EMR, and we also use additional software to inform the practitioner in real time of any care gaps that the patient needs to have filled during each visit.

Greater Family Health also hosts a full-service laboratory operated by Laboratory Corporation of America, Psychiatry, expansive Substance Use Disorder programming and Outpatient Counseling. We have a stable and growing practice with stable physicians, advanced practice professionals and nurses.

A Family Medicine Physician with Greater Family Health can anticipate a salary range of $219,300 to $300,000 annually, based on years of experience.
