As an intern - Sales Operations (f/m/d) within the Eurex Americas Sales team you will have an excellent opportunity to explore capital market dynamics and to gain valuable practical experience in an innovative company. The Sales Americas team is Eurex’s face to the financial industry to promote current and future trading and clearing services. Sales Operations is the backbone of the Sales Team. Our goal is to build strong relationships with our existing and new clearing members, their clients and associated industry bodies. To understand their needs and the impacts of developments in the market enables us to grow and expand our services to increase the attractiveness of our portfolio with the goal to expand our role as the leading provider in Europe of exchange traded and central counterparty services.
Your Responsibilities
- You will assist in sales pipeline management and tracking opportunities
- You will track sales activity, maintain accurate records in CRM systems, and ensure data quality
- You will help to conduct client and market research to identify trends and potential leads
- You will support the team with preparation of presentations, proposals, and client materials
- You will analyze and evaluate product performance; create ad-hoc reports for sales initiatives
- You will also explore opportunities to leverage AI tools for client insights and process automation
- You will gain exposure to equity and index derivatives markets and Eurex’s product offering
Your Profile
- You are enrolled at a state-recognized US university during the entire internship period (study focus in economics, business, finance, or related fields).
- Ideally, you have some practical experience (e.g., as a working student) in finance or data analysis
- You have a strong interest in financial markets and derivatives trading
- You bring a cooperative mindset and ability to integrate quickly into a team
- You have a high affinity for numbers and strong analytical skills
- You have excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI); programming skills (Python, SQL, VBA) are a plus
- You have very proficient written and oral communication skills in English
