Fund Accounting Supervisor, Private Equity
My Client a top Private Equity firm in the greater Chicago area is looking to bring on a Fund Accounting Supervisor to help lead and expand their team. This group operates on a hybrid basis in the loop, offers a high growth environment, and standout benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and approve reports, journal entries, and account reconciliations
- Performing capital calls and distributions
- Ensure financial reports are completed on time and accurately
- Help train and guide team members
- Work with auditors, custodians, and other teams as needed
- Help improve accounting systems and processes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in Private Equity, Private Credit, Real Estate, Asset Management, or Public Accounting
- 1- 2 years of leadership experience
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
