Test Analyst Lead

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Analyst Lead with strong expertise in IT QA, functional testing, and end‑to‑end software quality processes. The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience with QA methodologies, SDLC, automated testing frameworks, and QA toolsets. This role requires strong analytical, reporting, and troubleshooting abilities and prior experience within the Banking or Financial Services domain .

Core Responsibilities

• Lead and execute functional and system testing activities across various projects.
• Apply strong understanding of SDLC , QA best practices, testing methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid), and industry standards.
• Define goals, KPIs, and measurement plans for software process performance aligned with business objectives.
• Create, manage, and interpret detailed test reports, defect logs, and quality metrics.
• Conduct system analysis, application assessment, troubleshooting, and test result validation.
• Work with cross‑functional teams to ensure high‑quality deliverables across all phases of development and testing.
• Utilize and maintain documentation and workflow tools such as HP ALM Quality Center, Confluence, and JIRA .
• Perform API and integration testing using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, Maven , and version control (Git, Bitbucket).
• Ensure financial domain standards and regulatory requirements are adhered to throughout the testing lifecycle.

Essential Skills

• Minimum 3 years working as a Test Analyst Lead .
• Strong proficiency in IT QA, functional testing , and test planning.
• Solid command of SDLC, QA concepts, metrics , and modern testing methodologies.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks (hands‑on or working knowledge).
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for system and software applications.
• Expert-level proficiency with:
  • HP ALM Quality Center
  • JIRA
  • Confluence
  • Git or Bitbucket
  • Maven
  • Postman / SoapUI
• Proven work experience in Banking or Financial Services domain .
• Strong reporting and documentation skills, especially with QA metrics and dashboards.

Desirable Skills

• Experience with Agile Way of Working (Scrum, SAFe).
• Exposure to test automation frameworks or automation scripting.
• Understanding of continuous testing and CI/CD integration.
