As a Buyer you will:
As a Buyer you will work with the team quoting and purchasing material, services and shop related items to support the manufacturing operations of manufacturing of specialty off-highway vehicles and other heavy equipment.

• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers
• Identify and vet new and potential suppliers
• Process purchase orders (PO’s) in a timely manner
• Manage the purchasing of external steel fabrications, steel cut components, outside processes, and bronze components
• Complete purchases for made to print items
• Verify purchase orders (PO’s) are processed correctly and in a timely manner
• Follow-up with vendors
• Cultivate relationships
• Navigate within Infor ERP
• Support purchasing team in researching, analyzing, and forecasting buying trends.

This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 2+ years prior buyer experience or bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, Finance
• Basic understanding of heavy equipment service or manufacturing
• Basic understanding of business-to-business commerce
• Prior procurement experience a plus
• APICS Certification a plus
• Infor experience a plus
• Must have the ability to think on your feet and pivot when needed

SALARY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Salary Range*: $55,000-$65,000 per year

• Salary range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
