Supply Planning Technical Writer

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze existing supply planning process maps (Levels 1–4), including swim lanes, decision points, inputs, outputs, controls, and process ownership

• Translate detailed workflows into clear, precise, and standardized SOPs (approximately 10–15 total)

• Ensure SOPs accurately reflect cross-functional interactions and dependencies across the supply chain

• Partner with process owners and functional stakeholders to validate accuracy, clarity, and completeness of documentation

• Drive consistency in structure, terminology, and formatting across all SOPs

• Apply strong critical thinking to interpret complex processes and ensure documentation supports consistent execution

• Organize and extract process details from existing source materials, including Excel-based documentation

• Identify gaps, ambiguities, or inconsistencies in existing process maps and raise clarifying questions as needed

• Maintain version control and documentation standards in alignment with business requirements

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Technical Writer, Process Documentation Specialist, or similar role

• Strong understanding of supply chain or supply planning concepts and workflows

• Demonstrated ability to translate complex processes into clear, user-friendly documentation

• Experience working with detailed process maps, flowcharts, and swim-lane diagrams

• Exceptional written communication skills with strong attention to detail

• Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders

• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office tools
