Overview
Join our dynamic team in Collinsville, as a Forklift Operator! In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and distribution processes. We’re looking for a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move products within the facility.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring accurate inventory counts and proper handling of goods.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Assist in inventory management by accurately tracking and recording product movements.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational goals.
- Participate in training sessions and safety meetings as required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Valid forklift operator certification is required.
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including overtime if necessary.
