Compliance Program Manager

In this role, you will lead and scale compliance programs critical to global operations, ensuring audit readiness and regulatory adherence across multiple jurisdictions. You will collaborate with Legal, Product, Engineering, and other teams to translate complex regulatory requirements into actionable, auditable workflows. This position requires a balance of strategic planning and hands-on execution, including risk assessments, transparency reporting, project management, and process improvement. You will drive cross-functional initiatives, manage escalations, and implement repeatable processes that strengthen compliance capabilities as the organization grows. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and experienced in navigating regulated industries while building scalable operational programs. This role offers the opportunity to shape compliance frameworks in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.
Accountabilities:
- Lead and scale compliance programs and operational workflows to ensure global audit readiness and regulatory compliance
- Manage mid-tier regulatory projects end-to-end, coordinating cross-functional execution across Legal, Engineering, and Product teams
- Conduct risk assessments for new regulations and implement mitigation plans in collaboration with partner teams
- Own global transparency reporting, ensuring accurate and timely submissions aligned with regulatory requirements
- Support senior Compliance leads with strategy, executive reporting, and preparation for audits
- Develop repeatable, scalable processes for compliance operations to support ongoing global growth
- Manage compliance escalations and provide guidance on regulatory interpretation to internal stakeholders
- 4–6 years of experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, or program management, preferably in tech or regulated industries
- Background in trust & safety, content moderation, or platform governance preferred
- Proven track record delivering complex, multi-stakeholder projects from concept to implementation
- Strong understanding of compliance frameworks, audit methodologies, and risk assessment best practices
- Hands-on experience with transparency reporting, compliance documentation, and regulatory submissions
- Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail and ability to translate complex regulations into actionable programs
- Exceptional project management and stakeholder management skills, driving timelines and cross-functional alignment
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, able to explain complex topics to technical and non-technical audiences
- Systems thinker who designs scalable and repeatable processes
- Bonus: Experience with EU DSA, DMCA, GDPR, or other platform/content moderation regulations; familiarity with global transparency reporting requirements
