Clinic Receptionist

LaSalle Network is partnering with a client-focused behavioral health organization to hire a Clinic Receptionist on a short-term contract basis. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates empathy, and enjoys supporting clients and staff. The Clinic Receptionist is often the first face visitors see, providing direction and administrative support across multiple departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Staff the front desk as the first point of contact for members and visitors.

• Direct traffic throughout the organization and manage visitor check-ins.

• Monitor building cameras and manage building access.

• Provide administrative and scheduling support, including coordination with different departments for EHR scheduling and lookup processes.

• Rotate between main reception and appointment check-in desk as needed.

• Maintain professionalism and empathy when interacting with patients.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Minimum 2 years of related experience.

• Must demonstrate empathy and professionalism in all interactions.

• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficient with computers, email, and standard office software.

• Ability to type at least 50 words per minute.

• Skilled in operating standard office equipment.

• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.

• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and follow existing policies and procedures.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.

• Experience in healthcare or behavioral health settings.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
