Fabricator

We are seeking a highly skilled fabricator to join our team. This role combines design and hands on fabrication to support the production of high-quality parts and assemblies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabrication techniques and how to efficiently produce high quality, manufacturable products. Requirements:


Perform hands-on fabrication of custom projects and prototype parts- including welding (TIG & MIG), cutting, bending, and assembly of metal and other materials to create components and final products.
Collaborate with design and production team to develop manufacturable designs, optimizing functionality, quality, and cost-efficiency.
Create or modify fixtures and jigs as needed to support efficient, repeatable production processes.
Inspect and verify fabricated parts to ensure they meet design specifications and quality standards, making adjustments as necessary.
Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with production, engineering, and quality control teams to align on project requirements and timelines.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance fabrication efficiency, reduce waste, and improve safety.



Qualifications:


Minimum of 2 years in fabrication.
Proficient in welding, cutting, and metalworking techniques.
High school diploma or GED
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
Familiarity with shop safety protocols and commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methods.
Portfolio of past work to show fabrication skill.
