As a Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer, you’ll take ownership of designing and improving core systems within a large Rails monolith that powers customer-facing and partner-facing experiences. You’ll collaborate closely with product and design teams to ship scalable features, lead code reviews, and help modernize legacy components into a clean, maintainable architecture. The platform leverages Ruby on Rails 7, React, Node.js, and GCP, and is currently evolving its stack to improve developer velocity, system performance, and long-term reliability. Why join us? Job Details 5–8 years of professional software engineering experience, including work in production Rails environments Strong proficiency in Ruby on Rails and relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL). Experience with React or modern JavaScript frameworks. Familiarity with Node.js and GCP (or AWS) preferred Proven ability to balance shipping features with improving long-term maintainability. Experience working with RESTful APIs, service integrations, and CI/CD pipelines. Passion for writing well-tested, readable, and scalable code.
