• Healthcare Setting: OB Services Unit
• Assignment Start Date: September 29, 2025
• Assignment End Date: December 27, 2025
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts (7:00AM - 7:30PM)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2250 - $2310

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Illinois RN license in good standing (required for Illinois healthcare jobs)
• Minimum three (3) years of recent nursing experience in OB/GYN, Women's Health, or OB inpatient settings
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Current NRP certification (American Heart Association)

OBGYN RN Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to mothers and infants in the OB inpatient unit
• Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans for women's health and obstetric patients
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
• Provide infant care and support to mothers throughout their hospital stay
• Document all patient care accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Adapt care plans based on ongoing patient evaluation and clinical needs
• Promote patient and staff safety by identifying and reporting hazards
• Collaborate with healthcare team members and contribute to a positive work environment
• Maintain departmental competencies and participate in ongoing professional development
