Job Description

Join a leading team in Data Science responsible for integrating people, process, and technology to drive business value from clinical trials data. This pivotal role ensures successful delivery against program and study-level accountabilities within Data and Statistical Sciences through innovative execution.

Responsibilities

• Ensure study protocol requirements are accurately reflected in the Electronic Data Captures design and that common data standards are implemented.

• Optimize system functionality, end user experience, and data flow through well-specified system designs.

• Accountable for the timely design and delivery of new systems, integrations with other applicable systems, and necessary system modifications.

• Utilize project management tools to track progress, anticipate issues, and develop solutions to maintain timelines and quality.

• Achieve consistency at the program and therapeutic area levels.

• Influence DSS and cross-functional team members to meet program and study objectives, ensuring synchronization with dependencies.

• Ensure adherence to federal and local regulations, Good Clinical Practices, ICH Guidelines, Standard Operating Procedures, and quality standards.

• Participate in DSS and cross-functional innovation and process improvement initiatives.

Essential Skills

• Medidata Rave Certification with 3+ years of study building experience.

• Strong communication and presentation skills.

• Adaptability to an ever-evolving landscape within the Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, and Biotechnology industries.

• Demonstrated understanding of the clinical trial process.

• Knowledge of CDASH and SDTM.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, management information systems, computer science, life sciences, or equivalent; Master's preferred.

• 3+ years of clinical technology experience or 5+ years in a similar technical or clinical development role.

• Experience with common industry design and development tools preferred.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of North Chicago, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
