Summary:
The individual will be responsible for assisting in the growth and maintenance of ostomy care sales into the Acute Care market within the assigned territory/accounts. Reporting to the Acute Care Supervisor, this role is critical to building a potential sales specialist for the future development of the ostomy sales organization. Sales focus and activities are established through a partnership with the Acute Care Supervisor, the Regional Sales Manager and the Territory Manager specific to the assigned region.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support compliance and principles of responsibility by maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of information, protecting the assets of the organization, acting with ethics and integrity, reporting non-compliance and adhering to applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, accreditation and licenser requirements and Company’s policies and procedures.
  • Support and facilitate the Secure Start enrollment process by providing clinical support and guidance to customers.
  • Execute sample requests through Secure Start and manage follow up communication and documentation to ensure the retention of patients upon discharge to the community.
  • Position the capabilities of Secure Start Services to clinical customers and increase the number of enrollments aligned with the goals and expectations of each territory.
  • Manage and communicate regularly customer engagements and metrics associated with tracking enrollment numbers.
  • Assist other representatives by participating in in-servicing, contract deployment, and delivery of education to better help meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Develop clinical, industry and product knowledge by attending company training and industry programs.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with customers.
  • Keep a detailed record of all communication, contacts and information in SalesForce.com.
  • Interact with advanced practice clinicians (physicians, PA's, NP’s, WOCN's, and nurses) and assist in shaping product choice decisions.
  • Effectively coordinate opportunities internally (Hollister) and externally (customers) under the direction of the Acute Care Inside Sales Supervisor to collaborate with regional partners and deliver a superior customer experience.
  • Complete all administrative duties in an accurate and timely manner.

 

Essential Functions of the Role:

  • Ability to operate under compliance guidelines associated with being in a healthcare environment.

 

Work Experience Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in the medical sales industry.
  • Experience in medical device sales or Secure Start Services preferred.

 

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.

  • The anticipated base pay range for this position is $43,114 - $67,750 yearly. The actual salary varies based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, abilities, and other legitimate business factors.​
  • If applicable: This position is also eligible to participate in the Hollister Secure Start Bonus Plan.
