Join our dynamic team in East Moline, IL, where you will play a crucial role as a production team member. The position focuses on completing assigned tasks and projects throughout the warehouse, specifically in departments such as the Cell, Saw Operator, Receiving, Shipping, and work orders. Your primary responsibility will involve pulling copper tubing and pipes for shipment to renowned customers like Menards, Lowes, and Home Depot. Prior to shipment, you will ensure that the wire is covered with protective tubing and boxed securely and correctly.

Responsibilities

• Move pipe to pick locations.
• Pull orders efficiently and accurately.
• Bar code and label pipes.
• Bundle and wrap pipes for secure handling.
• Cut pipes according to cut sheets.
• Segregate and identify scrap materials.
• Prepare and wrap products for shipment.
• Unload trucks as needed.
• Load outbound shipments.

• Proficiency in production and general labor tasks.
• Experience with hand tools and machine operation.
• Knowledge of inventory management, loading, and unloading procedures.
• Familiarity with shipping and receiving operations.
• Ability to perform assembly and labeling tasks.
• Competence in load packaging.

• Experience in a warehouse environment is beneficial.
• Capability to work collaboratively with a team.
• Attention to detail in labeling and packaging.

Enjoy the benefits of working the 1st shift from 6:00am to 2:30pm, Monday through Friday. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to grow within the company, even with minimal warehouse experience. Once trained and cross-trained, usually within 1-3 weeks, you become eligible for a production incentive ranging from $2.00/hour for Tier 1 to $3.00/hour for Tier 2.

Work Environment

The work environment is non-climate controlled, which may result in hot conditions during the summer and cold conditions in the winter. The noise level is generally quiet but can vary from moderate to loud depending on departmental activities and the use of various tools.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of East Moline, IL.

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in East Moline,IL.
