Scientific Project Manager

education: Bachelors responsibilities:
- Lead Sprint Management: Coordinate and track activities across multiple concurrent data science projects and agile sprints to ensure timely delivery.
- Stakeholder Facilitation: Act as the primary liaison between data scientists, visiting researchers, and business partners to foster seamless collaboration.
- Operational Implementation: Deploy and manage the tools and processes necessary for tracking project progress and maintaining transparent status reporting.
- Logistics Coordination: Organize and support the logistical needs for agile workshops, resource planning sessions, and team-wide knowledge transfers.
- Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify project blockers or risks, driving accountability and resolution to maintain continuous delivery cycles.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement operational efficiencies to optimize the team's overall effectiveness and workflow.
qualifications:
Required Skills & Experience
- 3-5 years of Project Management experience , specifically within data science, analytics, or technical domains.
- Proven expertise in Agile methodologies and the ability to introduce structure into fast-paced, iterative environments.
- Exceptional communication skills , with a demonstrated ability to translate technical progress to non-technical stakeholders.
- Advanced organizational skills capable of managing parallel initiatives and meticulous project documentation.
- Technical Literacy: Foundational knowledge in data science, analytics, computer science, or engineering.
- Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or Agile-specific certifications (CSM, etc.).
- Advanced degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or Data Science).
- Experience implementing specific project management software and continuous improvement frameworks.
