Pay: $125,000 - $145,000 + benefits (DOE)
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic professional to join our organisation as the Director of Medicare & Medicaid. This leadership role involves overseeing the organisation’s Medicare and Medicaid programmes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and developing innovative strategies to optimise service delivery. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in guiding policy development, managing teams, and fostering relationships with key stakeholders within the healthcare sector. A strong background in management and healthcare administration is essential to excel in this position.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of Medicare and Medicaid programmes to ensure alignment with organisational goals and regulatory standards.
- Develop and oversee policies and procedures related to Medicare and Medicaid services, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and guidelines.
- Manage multidisciplinary teams responsible for programme administration, compliance, and client relations, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with government agencies, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to optimise programme effectiveness and address emerging challenges.
- Analyse programme data to identify trends, opportunities for enhancement, and areas requiring corrective action.
- Prepare reports for senior management and regulatory bodies, providing insights into programme performance and strategic recommendations.
- Stay abreast of legislative changes affecting Medicare and Medicaid policies, ensuring organisational adaptation accordingly.
- Drive initiatives aimed at improving patient outcomes, operational efficiency, and organisational compliance within the programmes.
Requirements
- Proven management experience within healthcare or related sectors, demonstrating leadership in complex programme environments.
- In-depth knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid policies, regulations, and operational frameworks.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to develop strategic plans and execute them effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with diverse stakeholders including government bodies, healthcare providers, and internal teams.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis tools to interpret programme metrics effectively.
- Relevant qualifications in healthcare administration, public health, or a related field are preferred.
- Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
