You pull signal traces with a curve tracer, verify insulation with a megger test, validate windings on a baker test, and confirm isolation on a Hipot tester—then land on a marginal component only a seasoned eye would spot. Mission

Restore, optimize, and future-proof industrial electronics—from Drives (AC, DC, VFD, Servo) and PLCs to power supplies, HMIs, laser scanners, AC/DC/servo motors, and complex circuit boards—by repairing at the component level and elevating our standards, speed, and quality every year.

What you’ll tackle

• Hands-on bench work with advanced diagnostics using a Huntron tracker, Multimeter, curve tracer, process calibrator, megger test, baker test, Hipot tester, chip reader, and more.
• Precision soldering and desoldering, including SMD rework.
• Occasional support to new product development with insights from repair/root-cause findings.
• Direct engagement with customers; periodic travel to their sites as needed.
• Design and deployment of test fixtures; warranty analysis and root-cause reporting.
• Continuous process refinement: review/edit repair standards, cut cycle time, and drive measurable year-over-year productivity improvements.
• Define testing methodology and set best-practice methods for the team.
• Timely, accurate service reports and documentation.
• Provide guidance and backup to less experienced technicians; operate effectively with minimal supervision.
• Advance our Quality Initiative by completing quality core classes, practicing our Core Values, and adhering to company and customer safety procedures.

What proves you’re ready

• Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college/technical school, plus 10+ years of related experience/training; or 12 years of equivalent combined education and experience.
• Expert understanding of electronic components and how they’re applied industrially.
• Advanced electronic and/or mechanical capabilities.
• Fluency with technical documentation and communication: interpret safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedures; write clear reports and correspondence; present confidently to groups of customers or employees.
• Math strength spanning discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, volume, and the practical use of algebra and geometry.
• Ability to translate written/oral/diagram instructions into action and solve problems with several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Physical realities of the job

Expect regular standing, walking, fine manual work with hands/fingers, reaching, climbing/ascending/descending or balancing at heights (ladder or lift), and stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling in confined spaces, with frequent talking and hearing. Sitting is occasional. You may occasionally lift or move more than 50 pounds. Close and color vision are used routinely. There may be occasional outdoor weather exposure and risk of electrical shock. Work typically occurs in a factory setting that is usually very loud, with potential exposure to hazardous materials and greasy or slippery floors.
