Travel Nurse Job Details

• Assignment Type: Travel RN contract
• Location: Peoria, IL (61636) – Illinois nursing jobs
• Unit: Neuro 8C (Neurology Unit)
• Duration: 13 weeks (Start: September 15, 2025 – End: December 13, 2025)
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts (7am–7pm), 3 shifts per week
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2000-$2050

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of neuro nursing or acute care RN experience
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ASN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Active Illinois Registered Nurse license in good standing
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) required

Neuro RN Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care for neuro patients during assigned shifts
• Conduct initial assessments and develop individualized neuro care plans
• Implement nursing interventions and neuro-specific procedures
• Continuously evaluate and update patient care plans based on clinical needs
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date clinical documentation for all patient care
• Promote patient and staff safety by identifying and addressing potential hazards
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Support professional development of peers and provide constructive feedback
• Identify personal learning needs and pursue ongoing nursing education
• Meet all departmental competencies and clinical standards
