Technical Recruiter (Intermediate Level)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Technical Recruiter to support end-to-end hiring for a variety of IT and technical roles. This position will partner closely with hiring managers and technical teams to deliver high-quality talent while ensuring a positive candidate and stakeholder experience. The role also provides opportunities to support broader recruiting initiatives as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for technical roles, including software engineering, infrastructure, data, cybersecurity, and related functions
• Partner closely with hiring managers and technical stakeholders to understand hiring needs, define role requirements, and align on timelines
• Lead intake meetings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer development, and candidate closing
• Utilize Workday (ATS) to manage requisitions, candidate pipelines, and recruiting metrics
• Conduct effective technical and behavioral screens to assess skills, experience, and cultural fit
• Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies, including Boolean search, talent mapping, and passive candidate outreach
• Provide a high-touch candidate experience from initial contact through offer acceptance
• Support select non-technical searches and broader talent initiatives as needed, including campus recruiting and internship programs
• Maintain accurate documentation, compliance, and reporting throughout the recruiting lifecycle

Work Arrangement

• On-site presence 2–3 days per week , with additional in-office days as needed for meetings or coverage

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years of recruiting experience , with a strong preference for technical or IT recruiting
• Proficiency with applicant tracking systems ( Workday preferred )
• Ability to manage multiple requisitions and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Working knowledge of technical roles and skill sets (software engineering, data, infrastructure, cybersecurity)
• Strong sourcing capabilities using advanced search techniques and direct outreach
• Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience recruiting in enterprise or highly technical environments
• Familiarity with campus recruiting, early career programs, or internship pipelines
• Strong analytical skills and ability to leverage recruiting data for continuous improvement

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Chicago, IL.

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $70.00/hr.
