Marketing Automation Specialist (SFMC)

Location: 100% Remote (Preference for Central Time).Duration: 1-year contractCompensation Range: $43 - 48 per hourCella is seeking a Marketing Automation Specialist for a high-impact, 1-year contract with one of our leading global pharmaceutical clients. This is a unique opportunity to join an elite Digital Lab where you'll be the "engine" behind sophisticated, 1:1 omnichannel marketing journeys. We're looking for a Salesforce Marketing Cloud expert who can deep-dive into SQL to build complex audiences and take pride in flawless, error-free campaign execution. Responsibilities: In this execution-focused role, your "day in the life" will center on the technical integrity and deployment of high-complexity brand programs.Technical Build: Use SQL to architect data-heavy audiences, manage suppression rules, and execute highly complex segmentation within SFMC.Omnichannel Execution: Build, test, and deploy 1:1 journeys across Email, SMS, and Direct Mail to ensure the right message reaches the right person at the right time.Rigorous Quality Control: Lead deep-dive QA processes for your own builds and perform peer reviews for team members to ensure 100% error-free implementation.Performance Monitoring: Track email deliverability across domains, resolve IP reputation issues, and provide detailed project updates to leadership.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with technical teams to test data integrations and coordinate with stakeholders to proof creatives and move campaigns through the approval pipeline.Qualifications: SFMC Expertise: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience building and executing campaigns specifically within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.SQL Mastery: Advanced proficiency in SQL for audience creation and data manipulation is a core requirement and a key differentiator for this role.Technical Toolset: Strong skills in HTML/CSS for email troubleshooting and MS Excel for data organization.Education: Bachelor's Degree is required.Certifications: Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist Certification is highly preferred.Industry Experience: Previous experience working within a highly regulated industry (such as Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, or Finance) is a significant plus.Soft Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, highly organized, and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.JOBID: 052026-132605#LI-CELLA#LI-AU3#PL#RemoteEqual Opportunity Employer: Race, Color, Religion, Sex, Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, National Origin, Age, Genetic Information, Disability, Protected Veteran Status, or any other legally protected group status.At Cella, a randstad digital company, we welcome people of all abilities and want to ensure that our hiring and interview process meets the needs of all applicants.
