Qualifications: Candidates should have at least 10 years of experience estimating commercial

construction. The ideal candidates will have a proven background in construction, Bachelor’s Degree

in Construction Management, or equivalent industry experience.

Key Roles & Responsibilities: The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing all aspects of the

estimating and pre-con process, including, but not limited to:

Review bid requirements and design plans to determine scope of work

Preconstruction exercises with client, design team, and potential project partners

Conduct pre-bid walkthroughs and coordinate RFI’s with design team

Develop budgetary and comprehensive cost estimate proposals using the proposal cost

worksheet

Evaluate and qualify bids from pre-qualified subcontractors, including detailed scope review

Assist with value engineering proposals to achieve client and/or Phoenix metrics

Collaborate with Operations and Accounting teams, prior to final contract award, to transition all

up to date project data and directives to ensure a smooth transition

Support Operations after project award, as required, to maintain controls on project detail
