Maintenance Technician
Location : Glendale Heights, IL
Schedule : Day Shift (Generally 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM)
Compensation : Budgeted at $73,000 DOQ base salary plus overtime, on-call stipend, travel reimbursement, profit sharing, and 401(k) contributions.

As we continue to grow, we're looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to help keep our automation systems operating at peak performance. If you enjoy solving mechanical and electrical problems, working with automated equipment, and taking ownership of critical systems, we'd like to hear from you. What You'll Work On
You will maintain and troubleshoot a variety of equipment including:
- Automated sortation systems
- Conveyors
- Electric motors
- Sensors and scanners
- Pneumatic components
- Electrical systems and controls
- Facility support equipment
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment issues.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance.
- Respond to equipment downtime and restore operations quickly.
- Support installation of new equipment and automation upgrades.
- Work with vendors and contractors on equipment projects.
- Manage spare parts inventory and maintenance supplies.
- Document repairs and maintenance activities.
- Provide technical guidance to other technicians when needed.
- Support facility maintenance and operational needs as required.
- 3+ years of maintenance experience in an industrial, manufacturing, distribution, automation, or logistics environment.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Electrical troubleshooting experience.
- Ability to read schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Experience using standard hand and power tools.
- Day-shift schedule, generally 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM.
- Occasional rotating weekend coverage.
- Approximately 30% travel to support other OSM facilities.
