RESPONSIBILITIES: The Assistant Comptroller serves as the senior general supervisor of accounting operations which includes the receipt, disbursement and accounting of university funds, and supervises the managers responsible for managerial/general accounting and property accounting. This position provides support to the Director of Financial Affairs, Controller, as well as the Vice President for Finance and Administration.

RANK & SALARY: $54,000 - $60,000 per year, commensurate with experience.

Job Requirements:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • 5 years of accounting experience
For a degree to be considered, it must be conferred from a regionally accredited degree-granting institution of higher education (or equivalent from an international accrediting body). Unless otherwise stated, the degree must be conferred at the time of appointment.

WIU Intercollegiate Athletics
The University's athletics program, based on the Macomb campus, sponsors 17 NCAA Division I intercollegiate men's and women's varsity sports. All varsity sports compete at the Division I level through The Ohio Valley Conference.
