Unit: Emergency Department

Experience Required: 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience (community or acute care setting); will accept first time traveler.

Certs Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS

Skills Required: General ED skills: Strong IV skills, cardiac rhythm interpretation/monitoring, foley placement/management, NGT placement/management, ventilator management (esp. after post arrest), knowledgeable in STEMI/CVA/Sepsis treatments, medication titration

Patient Types:
Neonates-Geriatrics
10-12% Pediatrics
Chest pain, dizziness, syncope, respiratory/cardiac arrest, strokes, sepsis, ortho, respiratory distress/failure, STEMI, COVID
ED Boarding patients (are counted within their 1:4-5 ratio)
