Shareholder
Our client, a Midwest based 200+ attorney law firm with a global reach, seeks a motivated and experienced Trusts & Estates Shareholder to join—and potentially co‑lead—a well‑established team of 30+ attorneys and paralegals across multiple offices. This role could sit in Milwaukee, Madison or Chicago.

- Provide sophisticated estate planning and wealth transfer counsel, including advanced gift strategies and asset protection planning
- Advise high‑net‑worth individuals, families, business owners, executives, and professional athletes and entertainers
- Prepare and oversee federal estate tax returns for taxable estates and federal gift tax returns
- Represent estates, trusts, and individuals in IRS estate and gift tax audits
- Contribute to firm and practice group leadership, including co‑management responsibilities (e.g., recruiting, policy and procedure development, forms and workflow design, meeting coordination, and administrative oversight)
Qualifications
- 10+ years of high‑level trusts and estates experience with a strong focus on estate and transfer tax planning
- Demonstrated experience handling complex taxable estates and gift planning matters
- Strong client advisory skills with the ability to manage and grow long‑term relationships
- Leadership or management experience is a plus
