Join our dynamic team at the East Peoria Embassy Suites and deliver exceptional dining experiences as a Banquet Server ! Our banquet servers ensure guests have an outstanding experience by providing prompt, courteous, and professional service. You'll be responsible for everything from greeting guests to ensuring seamless table service and a memorable visit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of banquet spaces, before, during and after events.

  • Maintain communication with the guest contact person for guest needs and provide excellent customer service to all guests.

  • Serve all food and beverages to guests per company standards.

  • Observe Health Department guidelines for food handling and sanitation.

  • Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures, including reporting accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to management.

  • Complete any and all other work as required to complete the primary purpose of the position.

Qualifications

  • Bring your prior serving experience - 6 months serving medium to large groups preferrable.

  • Preferably have high school diploma or equivalent.

  • Have required certification or obtain it during initial 90 days - includes Food and Alcohol Safety.

  • Willingness and ability to lift, pull and push up to 50 lbs., to bend and squat repeatedly, and to walk and stand for duration of scheduled shift.

  • Flexible to working days, early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
