Medical Assistant (CCMA) – (Chicago, IL)
Location: Chicago, IL (Local candidates only – within 75 miles)
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 5x8s (Mon–Fri, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM) + rotating Saturdays
Pay Rate: $26-$28/hr
✅ Must-Have Requirements
- Bilingual: English + Spanish (mandatory)
- Experience: 2+ years MA experience + Degree/Diploma + Certification + BLS
- OR
- 5 years MA experience + Certification + BLS
- Certifications: BLS
- MA Cert (AAMA / AMT / NHA / NCCT / etc.)
- License: Illinois license required at submission
- Vaccines: COVID (no exemptions) + Flu (limited exemptions)
Key Duties
- Rooming patients, vital signs, history intake
- Immunizations, TB tests, injections
- Blood glucose testing, specimen collection
- Suture removal, nebulizer treatments
- Phone triage & follow-ups
- Charting: Cerner
Important Notes
- Mandatory floating (up to 50 miles)
- No travel candidates (locals only)
- RTO strict: Max 5 days, no holidays/weekends
- Adult + Pediatrics experience required
- Parking limited – public transit preferred
