Surgical Scheduler Specialist-Digital Health Center

Overview: The Surgery Scheduling Specialist provides planning and service to patients and physicians in order to facilitate the scheduling and performance of procedures. Responsibilities: Accurately completes procedure case and documents per department protocol Works collaboratively and communicates respectfully with other members of the surgical services team Reviews insurance types and collaborates closley with medical insurance department for accurate coding and prior auths Schedules pre surgery and post op visits as needed Maintains attention to detail and proactively ensures accurate procedural schedules Manages incoming and outgoing phone calls maintaining department service level and abandonment rates Provides patient instructions verbally and/or in person per department protocol. Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is $18.65per hour - $30.21per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
