You start by reviewing your electronic 30-60-90-day forecast, prioritizing high-impact visits within a tight, high-density radius. With less windshield time, you’re in front of more customers—listening, diagnosing, and building projects that solve real manufacturing challenges.

Armed with a performance-based compensation plan and the autonomy to execute your strategy, you’ll tap into a seasoned technical team whenever you need deep application expertise. Together, you’ll craft creative, value-added CNC solutions that move your clients’ businesses forward.

Core responsibilities

• Generate new CNC and automation projects across a concentrated Chicagoland territory
• Own and manage deal profitability from discovery through close
• Protect and grow existing accounts while expanding into new logos per established sales goals
• Maintain an electronic 30-60-90-day forecast to drive pipeline health
• Follow the Ellison Technologies sales training program to sharpen your craft
• Use SalesForce.com and keep client data/current activities updated promptly

Who excels in this role

• Proven territorial salesperson with machine/cutting tool experience
• Or, professionals with tooling, fixturing, and/or CNC programming backgrounds eager to move into outside sales
• Successful B2B hunters ready to learn complex, high-tech equipment and “teach” prospects about their processes
• Consultative problem-solvers who create inventive, value-added solutions
