We’re building Chicago’s new home for soccer fans.
Soccer House is a purpose-built clubhouse for the game, designed to give fans the best way to watch, follow, and celebrate the game. From early-morning kickoffs to late winners, clásicos to cup finals, midweek fixtures, red cards, and cold rainy nights in Stoke, this is a place made to live with the full rhythm of the sport.
Position Summary
The HOST is responsible for giving a welcoming, friendly environment during all day and nighttime hours. This role requires attention to detail, strong hospitality instincts, and the ability to work efficiently during peak service periods while maintaining a calm, professional demeanor.
Responsibilities:
- Report directly to the General Manager
- Create genuine connections with guests, making them feel comfortable and valued throughout their experience
- Anticipate guests' needs and provide a proactive experience
- Responsible for completing all opening and closing procedures in a timely manner
- Adhere to proper alcohol handling, sanitation and safety procedures and maintain appropriate dating, labeling and rotation of all beverage and food items
- Communicate cordially, effectively and clearly with all employees, managers and guests
- Be Flexible and A Team Player
Qualifications :
- 1+ years of experience in a full-service restaurant or Bar
- Current ServSafe and Basset certifications.
- Calm, clear, and professional communication skills.
- Team-oriented with a collaborative spirit.
- Composed and focused under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and navigate a physically active service environment.
- Flexible availability, including days, nights & weekends.
