Enterprise Applications Specialist

iManage
Chicago, IL

We offer a flexible working policy that supports a healthy balance between personal and professional well-being. This role requires in-office presence on Tuesdays & Thursdays to collaborate, connect, and learn from peers - while also maintaining the flexibility for meaningful work-life balance.

Being an Enterprise Applications Specialist at iManage Means…

You are at the heart of ensuring our people and business teams have the technology they need to perform effectively. As an Enterprise Applications Specialist, you will manage and optimize a large ecosystem of cloud SaaS business applications used across iManage. You’ll work closely with functional administrators in departments like Finance, HR, Sales, and Engineering to ensure every system is well-governed, connected, and aligned with company standards. You will bring structure, visibility, and scalability to how iManage selects, supports, and evolves its digital tools.

iM Responsible For…

  • Managing the end-to-end lifecycle for hundreds of SaaS business applications, ensuring performance, compliance, and alignment with business goals.
  • Maintaining a comprehensive and continuously updated inventory of all SaaS applications, including shadow IT and employee-purchased software, ensuring accessibility for department heads and cost center owners.
  • Partnering with functional administrators across departments to define ownership, governance, and process standards that enable decentralized yet consistent management.
  • Developing and leading regular review cycles to assess application efficiency, alignment with business goals, and identify consolidation or rationalization opportunities.
  • Implementing and maintaining standards for identity, access, and integration using SSO, MFA, SAML, and modern API frameworks.
  • Oversight of the technical configuration, customization, and integration of enterprise applications; provide leadership in troubleshooting complex issues and ensure high availability and performance.
  • Evaluating new SaaS solutions through the lenses of security, interoperability, and strategic fit.
  • Providing visibility into application usage, spend, and compliance through dashboards and reports.
  • Collaborating with Infosec, Procurement, and Legal to maintain robust vendor compliance and data protection.
  • Leading process improvements that simplify user experience and strengthen governance across the SaaS ecosystem.
  • Enforcing data governance principles, ensuring data integrity, compliance (SOC 2, ISO 27001, etc.), and effective documentation for audits and security.

iM Qualified Because I Have…

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of experience managing enterprise business applications or SaaS portfolios in a global or distributed organization.
  • Hands-on experience with SaaS management platforms (such as BetterCloud, Zylo, or Torii).
  • Deep understanding of SaaS security, identity management, and cross-platform integration.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to bridge business and technical priorities.
  • A collaborative and proactive mindset—someone who enjoys building scalable systems and guiding organizational change.

Don't meet every qualification listed above? Studies show that women and people of color are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet all qualifications. At iManage, we are committed to building a diverse and inclusive environment, and encourage everyone to show up as their full authentic selves. We welcome those that come with a growth mindset and a hunger for learning; so, if you are excited about this role but your past experience doesn't align perfectly with every qualification we encourage you to apply anyways!
