Decorators Touch Inc is seeking a Painter to join our onsite team in Orland Park, IL.
Position SummaryAs a Painter at Decorators Touch Inc, you will help transform residential and commercial spaces through high-quality painting and surface preparation. You will work with the team to deliver clean, consistent finishes while supporting projects from prep to final touch-ups. This is a part time or full-time, onsite role ideal for a detail-oriented individual who takes pride in craftsmanship and dependable workmanship.
Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, patching, priming, and masking as needed
Apply paint, stain, and coatings using appropriate techniques to achieve smooth, even results
Protect floors, fixtures, and surrounding areas to maintain a clean work environment
Maintain accurate work progress and complete assigned tasks according to project expectations
Support basic site setup and cleanup while ensuring safety and proper handling of materials
Ability to perform physical work including lifting, standing, and working on ladders or scaffolding as required
Experience with painting fundamentals such as surface prep, masking, and applying finishes
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering consistent, high-quality results
Ability to follow instructions, take direction, and work effectively as part of a team
Reliable attendance and readiness to work onsite at the assigned location
Experience with interior and/or exterior painting for residential or commercial properties
Familiarity with selecting and matching coatings and finishes to meet project requirements
Prior experience working in a trade or construction-related environment
Strong organization skills to manage multiple tasks while keeping the workspace tidy
Hourly rate: $15.00 - $40.00
